Collection: Desert Garden

The cactus represents warmth and protection and is symbolic of maternal love as well as the ability to adapt, survive and flourish in a harsh and unforgiving environment. 

My ‘Desert Garden Collection’ of art was inspired by these amazing and unique desert dwellers that I have encountered during my residence in the Sonoran Desert region. My focus is on the visual elements and physical characteristics provided by the various species of cacti. ~ Sue Dranchak, Artist
